Y’all know the 70’s was my decade, and I think I took more photos in the 1970s than any other decade. Each decade represents another phase of life. This was one of self-growth and exploration, not to mention the 70s disco vibe and unforgettable style.

Who says getting older has to be boring? I visited Tony Yanito’s Gripstone Climbing Gym recently. He’s a legendary professional rock climber, and at over 60 he’s going strong keeping Prescott,AZ fit with his gym. On this day, there were some climbers in their late 60s and 70s showing their skills and I was impressed!
Gonna put on my climbing gear and do it one day. Tony said I can start with the kids wall!!😲😂 That’s about right!!🧗🏽♂️

I was wondering why I was feeling so blue and down these last few days, but I remembered that I get the winter blues also known as S.A.D, it’s really a thing… It’s been cloudy, gloomy, and cold here in Arizona y’all! Aside from a little reprieve in Florida,I stayed bundled up here in the house as long as I could. But suddenly today the sun is shining and it is warmer. I feel alive again.
It’s a metaphor for the seasons of life; the winter,spring, summers, and falls of life. It’s comforting to know that the dark seasons or the cold doesn’t last forever.

It was a bittersweet trip to Florida visiting my big brother Tony, who is bedridden from
a stroke, and my sister-in-law who is showing signs of dementia, all under the care of my wonderful niece, Rasheeda @rasheeda.io I got to experience firsthand her life as a caregiver, and I was glad to be
there as their new home was blessed at the housewarming. In all that she is juggling, she found the time to invite us to a Yankees’s Spring Training Event in Tampa. She is a Fordham U alum, so we got to steal away for a few hours to enjoy the event with her.
I was mostly in the moment, and didn’t get to create much content. Sometimes it’s that way. No regrets.
My niece is so amazing and beautiful. They are so blessed to have her care for them. May the Lord bless her GREATLY for honoring them in this way. We should all be so lucky!

I reinvented myself after decades as a designer in NY, and embraced social media in 2019. I have 2 amazing sons, a
daughter-in-love, and two amazing grandchildren.
I found love again and remarried in 2022 at the age of 65. It’s never too late to find love or to start over.

I think I took more photos in the 1970s than any other decade, up until now, that is.
It was such a creative time in vintage NYC for everyone it seems-musicians, artists, photographers all got their groove on. Being immersed in a creative environment at art school provided me with the wonderful opportunity to be both photographed and drawn by my fellow students. I can’t remember who took these!
