I don’t play around about hydration—especially at higher altitude here in PV.
A hair analysis test reminded me to pay attention to what I’m drinking, so filtering my water through Epic became a non-negotiable. It removes up to 99.99% of the stuff I don’t want in my body.
Healthy living starts inside.

Always been a Fashionista Diva.
Back in high school—and later at F.I.T. in the late ’70s—I lived for those student fashion shows. We were young, bold, and chasing our creative dreams with nothing but talent, pins, and pure hustle. The ’70s… what a decade. Still one of my favorites, and 1970s styles are forever…
Swipe to see:
1. Wearing a design by my late friend Earl Eppinger
2. Rocking my own Quiana creation
3–5. A mix of fashion shows that shaped my eye
3. High School Fashion Show
4. Lounging on the couch
5. Hallway vibes in the Gowanus Projects
And somewhere in the background, Prince was debuting in ’79—hair laid to the heavens and looking better than mine. The rest, as they say, is history.
What is your favorite thing about the 70s?

There must be something in the air. I have been purging my closet for a while.
I can’t count how many bags of clothing and stuff we donated this year alone.
So when @dianebrittsmith posted about purging, it resonated with me because I’m purging too.
When I was selling vintage clothing, I used to go to estate sales and I would leave them with mixed feelings because although I would leave with all of the spoils and great vintage clothing, it made me very sad that we stood in line to get in and then rummaged over items that were an important part of peoples lives.Their cherished belongings. Their collectibles. Their lives. Reminder to self
- you can’t take it with you.
Anywho-I went to the consignment shop and they took half of the items. What’s left I’ll have to give away. It must go!
Are you in a phase of getting rid of stuff?

Ponder this:
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” — George Eliot
“Finish each day and be done with it… Tomorrow is a new day.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Every sunrise gives us another chance to grow, glow, and begin again. Remember, God’s mercies are new every morning! It’s another chance to begin again .
So if yesterday sucked, get some good sleep, and start over .
I’m embracing this season with grace, a little grit, and a whole lot of silver magic. Starting fresh never gets old — and neither do we. ✨

The wind was tossing everything
today, but not me.
Being rooted in the Word and standing
on Christ the Solid Rock, you don’t get blown off course.
In life, Storms can swirl — but I
stay planted on a firm foundation.

I wanted to dispel all the negativity around menopause. I mean, the challenges are real, but It sounds so scary, and I’m glad that we have the information that our mothers didn’t have, and we can take action. So to my younger sisters, who are about to enter that phase, never fear; you’ve made it this far!!
I’m not negating the hot flashes, the emotional mood swings, or the changes that many experience. Everything feels different, and everyone is different. For example, many women have terrible hot flashes. Me? I never had them, but I did have emotional mood swings, and that was very real. You might have a phase of losing your libido. You might have a phase of heightened libido. It’s all a crapshoot. The good news is today we have options. The availability of bioidentical hormones and other holistic treatments are very beneficial blessings that our parents didn’t have access to.
I’m not saying it’s a cakewalk, but you have to be proactive. I had terrible gynecologists that just did not help me for about 10 years until I found some good ones. If you’re not happy with your gynecologist, no matter how long you’ve been going to them, advocate for yourself and get a new one.
Now that I’m on the other side, and postmenopausal, I can look back and say these things. It’s just one of the inevitable things. A change of life, as our parents used to say, so take life by the horns and keep it moving.
Oh, I forgot to add - you can wear white without fear!
I am not a doctor or expert so of course check with your physician before using them . This is my personal experience and here are a few supplements that helped me during Peri and Menopause:
Estrotone
Wild Yam Cream
Progesterone Cream
Comment PAUSE below and I’ll send direct links to these supplements.

Episode 3:
When I first whispered the idea of going gray to Dave, I half-expected resistance. My family was already supportive-but this was a fairly new relationship when I decided to make a drastic change-and men are visual creatures. You know how it is — we brace ourselves for opinions before anyone even gives one. But when I told my then-boyfriend, now husband, that I was ready to embrace my grays, he surprised me. Supportive, a little cautious, but he didn’t flinch.
I moved forward anyway. First came the dread extensions. Then, when enough silver pushed through, I added gray braids. That’s when everything clicked — the visual made it real. We both finally saw what my future hair would look like, and he loved it.
If you’re on this journey too, here’s what I learned: once you accept it, the people who love you follow your lead. Confidence is contagious. And yes, having someone like Dave in your corner helps, but the real turning point was me choosing to own it.
Your gray story begins the moment you decide to stop hiding from yourself. The rest falls into place.
Are you on the fence, but afraid of what others might think?
I dare say once you approve of yourself, everyone else will fall in line.
