As your only daughter (with four older brothers) of course you were concerned when I went out into those New York City streets. When you become a parent yourself, you suddenly get it! Praying that angels will go with your child and keep them safe. I did that too. Sometimes I think of you and I still feel your prayers over my life🙏🏽. Getting teary thinking about it. But I recognize that it was your faith that inspired me to a life of faith. I remember us dancing to this song. You loved it.
Thank you, mom. Love you always till we meet again.🙏🏽❤️

Looking back, we were grown! Or at least thought we were.😂 We were students at the High School of Art & Design in NYC and we had a blast running those city streets. We were always together until boys came into the picture. ( @tanyafelder57 remember Fuzz and Whaley?😂) Love you girl!!!

My favorite thing was taking the F train to the Village, and shopping on West 8th Street. There was a store called Azuma that I loved to frequent. I’d walk down to St. Marks in the East Village where Punk Rock was definitely in the air. It was wonderful just being a short train ride from Brooklyn to the city. Truly the good ole days, and great memories.
For these photos, I think we took a bus ride with my mom to Virginia. I think it was her snapping these shots.

They say everything old is new again—and this kitchen remodel before and after proves it. Nothing was broken. We just wanted better. More intentional. More us.
Dave’s been talking about giving the kitchen a facelift for years, so we finally said, alright, let’s do it right. We removed cabinets, repainted, upgraded the flow, and brought in new appliances—yes, from @bestbuy. Don’t sleep on Best Buy. That electronics-only reputation is outdated.
A smart kitchen refresh doesn’t have to be a full teardown. Sometimes new color, better function, and thoughtful upgrades are enough to make the whole space feel brand new. Floating shelves are next, and Part 2 is coming.
These baby boomers are not trying to be cold, confused, or outdated. We’re inside. Comfortable. And very happy with our Café appliances.
