Love Is Possible Over 40, 50, 60 and Beyond

Yes, love is still possible. Yes, even online. And yes, even after 40.

We met five years ago online.

Yes, online.

Love is possible over 40, 50, 60 and beyond, so I’m here to tell y’all.

After my divorce, I was on and offline for a few years. It’s scary at first, exasperating, and disappointing at times. I’m not gonna lie.

I tried a few different sites. From time to time, I would update my profile, and sometimes I would just go offline altogether. After a while, I became pretty good at scoping out scammers, players, and men who simply were not a match.

At this age, one does not want to waste time.

It is not always a quick process. It actually took about four years on and offline until I met Dave.

I loved his sense of humor and communication style. We are both believers in Christ first, and we have similar views on life. These things were foundational. We had good chemistry when we met, and the rest is history.

Obviously, I have since gone silver. 👑

I want to offer hope and encouragement to those over 40 and beyond who think love is no longer possible. I know quite a few silver sisters who have met their significant others over the age of 50.

It is possible.

Finding Love Later in Life

Finding mature love over the age of 40, 50, and even 60 can be a beautiful and rewarding experience. Age is just a number, and it is never too late to find love and companionship.

There are many ways to meet new people. Online dating has become increasingly popular and accessible, and many dating websites and apps now cater specifically to older adults looking for love and companionship.

Be honest and upfront about your intentions and what you are looking for in a relationship. Take your time getting to know someone before meeting in person, and always prioritize your safety and well-being.

Open Yourself to New Possibilities

Another way to meet people is through social activities and groups. Joining a club or organization that aligns with your interests can be a great way to connect with like-minded people.

You might also consider volunteering, attending cultural events, taking a class, or simply saying yes to something new. The key is to put yourself out there and remain open to new experiences.

Finding mature love is not about settling or compromising your values. It is about finding someone who complements your life, shares your values, and adds joy, peace, and companionship.

The Beauty of Mature Love

Finding love at a mature age can be incredibly rewarding. Love is not reserved for the young. In fact, many people are better equipped to appreciate and cherish a new relationship when they are older, wiser, and more self-aware.

One of the great joys of mature love is the confidence that comes with knowing who you are. You have had time to explore your interests, values, beliefs, and desires. That kind of self-awareness can be deeply attractive.

Another blessing is the opportunity to share life with someone who understands the ups and downs of the journey. You both bring experience, perspective, and wisdom to the relationship.

Love later in life can also bring renewed energy and excitement. Exploring new places, trying new hobbies, or simply enjoying meaningful companionship can bring fresh joy into your life.

Don’t Give Up on Love

Finding love at a mature age can be inspirational, not only for you, but for those around you. By choosing joy, connection, and possibility, you remind others that it is never too late to find happiness.

If you are over 40, 50, 60, or beyond, do not give up on love. Embrace the possibilities ahead. Open yourself to the beauty of a new relationship. You never know what wonderful surprise may be waiting just around the corner.

Here’s to finding love, laughter, and a whole lot of adventure after 40.

The best is yet to come!

In case you need some ideas on what to pack for your upcoming tropical vacation, look no further. 🌴☀️

#thisis69 and I still wear shorts and tube tops. At this age, I wear whatever I want and whatever I feel comfortable in. Confidence has no age limit, and neither does personal style.

For my birthday, I wore the flowy 2-piece print set, and because it was so hot I kept my style cool, comfy, and effortless. This silver hair journey has taught me that age-positive style is all about dressing for joy, freedom, and feeling good in your own skin.

Fashion over 60, over 65, and yes — over 69 — can still be bold, fun, stylish, and youthful. Don’t let anyone tell you there’s an expiration date on confidence, crop tops, or tropical vacation outfits. Wear the shorts. Wear the bright prints. Wear what makes you feel alive. ✨

What I packed:
3 tube tops
2 woven tops
3 pr shorts
3 Sundresses
3 pr wide leg pants
2 Caftans
1 pr sneakers
1 black sandal
1pr fisherman sandals
1 pr flip flops
1 hoodie
1 white sweater

Comment “Ideas” and I’ll send a link to similar items in my Amazon shop.

God’s handiwork was evident in Bali, and it’s all around us everywhere if we just take a moment to look up wherever we are.

I’m thankful for all blessings, and for being able to travel and see different places. What are you thankful for?

When you’re younger, you don’t usually worry about things like ingrown toenails. But as you get older you’re walking around fine, and then BAM, they start hurting. And somehow, when your feet hurt, your whole body hurts.
Sure, when you go to get a regular pedicure, they can address it temporarily, but they always come back. But now it was affecting everything. My toes were hurting even while wearing sneakers, and so I had to take matters into my own hands or my own feet I should say- as it were.
The procedure was pretty painless and the only thing I felt was the pinch of the needles on either side of my big toe to numb them. It was over before I knew it. The experience was worse in my mind than IRL.
So what was the procedure you ask? The Dr. removed the ingrown edge of the nail and, destroyed the nail root so it won’t grow back. I’m OK with that.

We older folks are doing OK out here in these IG streets, but sometimes getting older sucks!!Not gonna lie😲🤣
But we keep it moving, and we Stay Fly!!!

If you need to get it done, just go get it done!
Some places stay with you long after the suitcase is unpacked.
The @omtaraspa at Kappa Senses Ubud was one of those places for me — hidden among lush greenery, soft rain, flowing water, warm oils, quiet rituals, and the kind of stillness that makes the rest of the world go silent for a little while.
I’m already back home in Arizona, back to real life, emails, laundry and deadlines… but this experience deserved its moment on the timeline because true peace is becoming a luxury these days. Bali slowed me down in the most beautiful way.
And honestly? A massage in the middle of the jungle while listening to nature do its thing should be prescribed at least twice a year.

There’s something about getting older that teaches you the difference between luxury and peace. One costs money. The other costs years.
Years of lessons.Years of heartbreak.Years of overextending, overthinking, overgiving.
So yes… these days I’ll gladly sit in beautiful places, wear the white linen, order the good meal, and disappear into serene aqua views without one ounce of guilt.
Because this softness? It wasn’t handed to me.I earned every bit of it.
Bali has been good for my spirit.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is step away from the noise…
At this age, I no longer vacation to impress people.I vacation to hear myself think again.
