This photo was taken just about 14 months in…to my journey. I was over halfway there and In the home stretch. Patience is a virtue!!!💃🏽 Wash. Set. Blow Dry. My stylist, Catherine @beautydrysalon in Brooklyn has Magic Hands ! Even though the Grombre is in full effect, and my dyed tips have washed out from Ash brown to Blorange, I am loving the silver growth coming in. I am always amazed to see the gray growth from the back of my head when I go to the salon. I never see it from this vantage point at home, and at this point, I am fully committed and I am in LOVE with it! For any ladies on the fence about choosing to go gray, you must endure this phase of two-toned hair. The other options are braids, wigs, a big chop, or bleaching it to gray professionally if you are impatient and have the money. The choice is yours, but the good news is that there are choices, and you can always go back. Me? I’m not going back! Keep the faith, Chicas!!!

One of the greatest Blessings of my life is being a mother and seeing my children flourish. Sometimes we wonder how we did as parents, but I’m happy to say that my boys give me my flowers of appreciation while I’m still here🙏🏽💐❤️

I pray this can be said of me from Proverbs 31:

and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Life moves fast, but some things never change… the love, the bond, and the way your children continue to cheer you on through every season of life.

Justin has always been one of my biggest supporters — from my early mom days to this chapter of traveling, creating, and living life fully. And now seeing 3 generations together? That’s the real blessing. 🙏🏽

Sometimes the greatest flex isn’t fame, money, or followers… it’s looking around and realizing your family still genuinely loves being together.

My niece and I took a trip to Italy right before the pandemic changed everything. We could have easily said, “Let’s wait.” But we didn’t—and that trip became a memory we’ll treasure forever.

Bali has been on my heart for years… and I finally said YES. 🌴

A monkey literally stole my eyeglasses right off my face!!
We were forewarned by everyone including staff, and a woman who had just witnessed phones and sunglasses getting stolen, and the monkeys running off into the trees, never to be seen again!
We were careful, or so we thought.
I held onto the rim of my glasses while walking , and we held our phones securely in front us.
I felt someone push me. It felt like a person, until I realized it was a monkey. Then we stopped to ask a quick question, dropped our guard and Mr. Monkey swooped down and grabbed my glasses before I even realized it! He was that quick. A local guide saved the day by throwing a banana at him, and he dropped my glasses.
I saw him up in that tree and thought they would be gone forever! Grateful for the guide. We didn’t see him in action crafty suckas!!😂🙈🐒

It was worth the long flight… three legs-Phoenix to Seattle, Seattle to Taiwan, Taiwan to Bali. So if you are planning to go, you will lose a day going, and gain a day coming back. That’s why we decided to at least be here more than a week because it made more sense.

Still here enjoying Bali- but my hair…not so much, so I decided to get my hair braided at a local massage spa (Anggita spa Seminyak )that also braided hair lol. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. As you can see in the video it’s a whole different process than it is in the states where the hair is already packaged. They unravel ribbon and turn it into Hair filaments. It was amazing anyway check out the video so you can see the process and let me know what you think below!
