Ladies!!! Put the fan away and sit down…No Sis, you are not having hot flashes!! You are getting a glimpse of our counterparts: Behold The Silver Men.
So, move over Silver Sisters and make way for these Silver Brothers to stand alongside us in the burgeoning Positive Aging movement as we light the path in the Silver Spotlight together. Gray haired salt and pepper men, celebrities, and high powered business men alike have long been deemed sexy and mature merely getting better with age while traipsing around with much younger arm candy. Silver Sisters have finally caught up, owning their glorious tresses and making a big splash on social media. And while the world is finally taking notice that aging and gray hair can indeed be beautiful, this is a new breed of silver haired foxes; men confident in style and swagger for the whole world to see. They are kicking it up a notch or two.
“The clinical research tells us that by the age of 50, most men will develop grey hair (Genetics Home Reference, 2017). Your hair color is determined by a pigment called melanin; a substance that hair follicles produce. Hair follicles are dynamic structures that reside in the dermal layer of your skin and made up of 20 unique cells. As you age, these follicles produce less melanin, thereby reducing color pigmentation. Some men will start to notice grey hair atop their head in their 20’s. More will spot whitish patches in their 30’s. And by the time you are 40, you will likely see (some) salt and pepper set in”. (From guycounseling.com)
Either that, or they start going bald. Not that baldness is a bad thing, but with the popularity of beards today, it adds a nice counterbalance to the baldness while showcasing their silver tinsel.
These brothers have defined their individual style, and not only are they looking Fly, but they are notably health conscious and fit.
So, I hereby give you permission to behold God’s magnificent creations without guilt!
Looking is free!
Whether bald or bearded, dread locked or tatted, each Silver Brother depicted here is making his unique silver splash in a big way:
Some are professional models like @orlandosilverfox who is as close to perfection as one can get. The word “Adonis” comes to mind with his chiseled body and face to match. (He also gives me a Prince vibe in some photos)(photo credit: Gunnar Gabrielsen)
@mrericcedeno, a silver model, sports gorgeous silver locs along with that enviable flawless skin AND smile.
I have been following @city.lord as he makes his way around colorful spots in Germany to capture great vibrant pics.
@alisudani just looks great with that silver crown and beard, and sports a modern twist to his classic style.
@franky_silverman is a model who wears a longer beard and sports rugged manliness with street style cool, and I am not mad at all those tatts!
@mrmoodydresser has impeccable swag and style as he bounces effortlessly between cool dapper looks and ultra-chic street style.
@biggrip69 has a unique and glorious snow white beard, keeps fit, and is a Deputy Sheriff…I feel safer already!!
@aldgoldie is a model who can sport clean classic handsome looks as well as rough and rugged ones
@tonsorialist_mrdexx is a NYC based Grand Master Barber and you can tell by his beard game and debonaire air. (Yeah, I had to look up “tonsorialist” too!)
@therealwinstonwarrior – apparently bald heads and beards are a thing, and Mr. Winston: multi-talented musician, artist, and more, knows how to work it all very well…
Just like Silver Sisters ditching the dye, men can put away their boxed dye and be confident that the gray doesn’t make them look old, they look Grayt!
It is truly all about mindset, attitude, self-awareness, and style. It can make all the difference between old and bold.
So go ahead and scoot over Silver Queen, and let that Silver King take his rightful place on the throne.
I know you will give your Silver Brothers a follow…
Like Silver Sisters, there are so many Silver Brothers to choose from it was hard to select them so I will most likely feature more Silver Brother in upcoming posts.
What do you think…do you want more???
Post your comments below, and submit your favorite silver brothers for my next post.
Smoochez!!!

Back when I was living in Brooklyn a few years ago, I found myself in an unexpected situation that left me reflecting on the perceptions of age and vitality. As I strolled down the street behind a group of high school students, I couldn't help but notice their slower...
The wind was tossing everything today, but not me. Being rooted in the Word and standing on Christ the Solid Rock, you don’t get blown off course. In life, Storms can swirl — but I stay planted on a firm foundation.
“On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand, all other ground is sinking sand”
I wanted to dispel all the negativity around menopause. I mean, the challenges are real, but It sounds so scary, and I’m glad that we have the information that our mothers didn’t have, and we can take action. So to my younger sisters, who are about to enter that phase, never fear; you’ve made it this far!! I’m not negating the hot flashes, the emotional mood swings, or the changes that many experience. Everything feels different, and everyone is different. For example, many women have terrible hot flashes. Me? I never had them, but I did have emotional mood swings, and that was very real. You might have a phase of losing your libido. You might have a phase of heightened libido. It’s all a crapshoot. The good news is today we have options. The availability of bioidentical hormones and other holistic treatments are very beneficial blessings that our parents didn’t have access to. I’m not saying it’s a cakewalk, but you have to be proactive. I had terrible gynecologists that just did not help me for about 10 years until I found some good ones. If you’re not happy with your gynecologist, no matter how long you’ve been going to them, advocate for yourself and get a new one. Now that I’m on the other side, and postmenopausal, I can look back and say these things. It’s just one of the inevitable things. A change of life, as our parents used to say, so take life by the horns and keep it moving.
Oh, I forgot to add - you can wear white without fear!
I am not a doctor or expert so of course check with your physician before using them . This is my personal experience and here are a few supplements that helped me during Peri and Menopause:
Estrotone Wild Yam Cream Progesterone Cream

When I first whispered the idea of going gray to Dave, I half-expected resistance. My family was already supportive-but this was a fairly new relationship when I decided to make a drastic change-and men are visual creatures. You know how it is — we brace ourselves for opinions before anyone even gives one. But when I told my then-boyfriend, now husband, that I was ready to embrace my grays, he surprised me. Supportive, a little cautious, but he didn’t flinch. I moved forward anyway. First came the dread extensions. Then, when enough silver pushed through, I added gray braids. That’s when everything clicked — the visual made it real. We both finally saw what my future hair would look like, and he loved it. If you’re on this journey too, here’s what I learned: once you accept it, the people who love you follow your lead. Confidence is contagious. And yes, having someone like Dave in your corner helps, but the real turning point was me choosing to own it. Your gray story begins the moment you decide to stop hiding from yourself. The rest falls into place. Are you on the fence, but afraid of what others might think? I dare say once you approve of yourself, everyone else will fall in line. #grayhairjourney #silversister #silvercouple #interracialdating #embracethegray #ditchthedye #proagemovement
There are lots of baby bloomers out there. Are you considering a gray hair journey?
When you’re in the thick of a dark season, it’s hard to see the light of day. After getting covid in 2021, I lost about two thirds of my hair’s thickness. Clumps of hair were coming out in my comb and was washing down the drain. It was frightening! I’ve had ultra-thick luxurious hair forever. I was the envy of many, and the loss of my signature mane was devastating. Even more so because I had recently become a Silver Sister, and a Gray Hair Influencer. What now???!! This was a cosmic joke. My fluffy gray mane had become limp and lifeless. I was just finding my stride on social media, and then this! No more glorious hair pics, and my hair had been my identity for decades. I had to do something. I know a lot of women suffer hair loss after menopause, covid, or just due to the aging process, but I wasn’t goin out like that!!! So here are the products I used to help in my hair loss recovery.
Comment “Hair” below to get a link with the exact products I used.

We often talk about the negatives surrounding menopause, like weight gain and a slower metabolism during perimenopause and menopause — but what we don’t talk about as much is how our bust sizes can suddenly increase during that phase. Peri, post, whatever stage you’re in — those changes are real, and they catch a lot of us by surprise.
Back in the day—long before breast implants were a thing—my younger self noticed that women around 45 and up always seemed a bit more buxom and busty than younger women. I never really understood it or gave it much thought… until my menopause breasts appeared. My decades-long 34B cups had suddenly become very full, and that unsolicited cleavage was making its presence known in every top I wore. When I finally went for a proper fitting, I was shocked to discover I was now a 34DD! Not that I ever contemplated getting breast implants—but I certainly didn’t need them now!
Our bodies keep changing — even our busts, and I’m not mad at it!!
Did you notice a difference during peri or menopause?

The choice to embrace your natural silver strands is nothing short of revolutionary. It’s like telling the world, “I am comfortable in my own skin, and I’m here to slay.”
