Ladies!!! Put the fan away and sit down…No Sis, you are not having hot flashes!! You are getting a glimpse of our counterparts: Behold The Silver Men.
So, move over Silver Sisters and make way for these Silver Brothers to stand alongside us in the burgeoning Positive Aging movement as we light the path in the Silver Spotlight together. Gray haired salt and pepper men, celebrities, and high powered business men alike have long been deemed sexy and mature merely getting better with age while traipsing around with much younger arm candy. Silver Sisters have finally caught up, owning their glorious tresses and making a big splash on social media. And while the world is finally taking notice that aging and gray hair can indeed be beautiful, this is a new breed of silver haired foxes; men confident in style and swagger for the whole world to see. They are kicking it up a notch or two.
“The clinical research tells us that by the age of 50, most men will develop grey hair (Genetics Home Reference, 2017). Your hair color is determined by a pigment called melanin; a substance that hair follicles produce. Hair follicles are dynamic structures that reside in the dermal layer of your skin and made up of 20 unique cells. As you age, these follicles produce less melanin, thereby reducing color pigmentation. Some men will start to notice grey hair atop their head in their 20’s. More will spot whitish patches in their 30’s. And by the time you are 40, you will likely see (some) salt and pepper set in”. (From guycounseling.com)
Either that, or they start going bald. Not that baldness is a bad thing, but with the popularity of beards today, it adds a nice counterbalance to the baldness while showcasing their silver tinsel.
These brothers have defined their individual style, and not only are they looking Fly, but they are notably health conscious and fit.
So, I hereby give you permission to behold God’s magnificent creations without guilt!
Looking is free!
Whether bald or bearded, dread locked or tatted, each Silver Brother depicted here is making his unique silver splash in a big way:
Some are professional models like @orlandosilverfox who is as close to perfection as one can get. The word “Adonis” comes to mind with his chiseled body and face to match. (He also gives me a Prince vibe in some photos)(photo credit: Gunnar Gabrielsen)
@mrericcedeno, a silver model, sports gorgeous silver locs along with that enviable flawless skin AND smile.
I have been following @city.lord as he makes his way around colorful spots in Germany to capture great vibrant pics.
@alisudani just looks great with that silver crown and beard, and sports a modern twist to his classic style.
@franky_silverman is a model who wears a longer beard and sports rugged manliness with street style cool, and I am not mad at all those tatts!
@mrmoodydresser has impeccable swag and style as he bounces effortlessly between cool dapper looks and ultra-chic street style.
@biggrip69 has a unique and glorious snow white beard, keeps fit, and is a Deputy Sheriff…I feel safer already!!
@aldgoldie is a model who can sport clean classic handsome looks as well as rough and rugged ones
@tonsorialist_mrdexx is a NYC based Grand Master Barber and you can tell by his beard game and debonaire air. (Yeah, I had to look up “tonsorialist” too!)
@therealwinstonwarrior – apparently bald heads and beards are a thing, and Mr. Winston: multi-talented musician, artist, and more, knows how to work it all very well…
Just like Silver Sisters ditching the dye, men can put away their boxed dye and be confident that the gray doesn’t make them look old, they look Grayt!
It is truly all about mindset, attitude, self-awareness, and style. It can make all the difference between old and bold.
So go ahead and scoot over Silver Queen, and let that Silver King take his rightful place on the throne.
I know you will give your Silver Brothers a follow…
Like Silver Sisters, there are so many Silver Brothers to choose from it was hard to select them so I will most likely feature more Silver Brother in upcoming posts.
What do you think…do you want more???
Post your comments below, and submit your favorite silver brothers for my next post.
Smoochez!!!

Back when I was living in Brooklyn a few years ago, I found myself in an unexpected situation that left me reflecting on the perceptions of age and vitality. As I strolled down the street behind a group of high school students, I couldn't help but notice their slower...
Sunday Service Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart,“ There is no God.”
The majesty of God’s creation speaks for itself. • Order implies intelligence. * Law implies a law-giver. * Design implies a designer. You don’t walk into a cathedral and assume a tornado assembled it. Earth rotates at roughly 1,000 miles per hour at the equator. And yet… you don’t feel it.
Gravity is silent. Invisible. Relentless. It holds: * You to the ground * The oceans in their basins * The atmosphere wrapped around Earth * The Moon in orbit * The planets circling the Sun * Mountains aren’t just pretty backdrops for Instagram. They: * Regulate climate patterns * Drive rainfall distribution * Anchor tectonic balance
Just some things to ponder if you think this earth was created by some Big Bang. I’m sorry but a big bang can’t even wash and put away the dishes.
I Thrifted this neon green dress, and I can’t tell whether it’s vintage or not. The fabric feels like those slinky knits from the 1990s early 2000s. Either way I’m not gonna keep it. It does not flatter my figure. IYKYK IF. It makes me look shorter, so I covered it with a cardigan and some knee-high boots to make it work. If you’re interested in this dress, send me a DM. It’s it says a size Large. #styleover60 #transformationtuesday#neongreen#fashionfauxpas

Sunday Service. A little late, but this is another one of my favorite verses. I’ve been at rock bottom a time or two in this ole life. We all have, haven’t we? If not for God, and His word keeping me afloat during those times, I don’t know where I’d be. We can’t trust in or count on man, can we? But God…🙏🏽
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Can I get an Amen? Have a blessed week and stay warm Fam.❤️

It doesn’t matter how good we think we are, fact is we are all fallen beings. Just think about our cute little toddlers, does anyone teach them to tell a fib? It’s innate. I’m thankful that we have an advocate and His name is Jesus.
As always, reminding myself as I remind y’all🙏🏽❤️
Have a blessed and wonderful week.

They say love belongs to the young… but some of the best love stories begin when you finally know who you are. ❤️
Over 50 isn’t the ending — it’s the chapter where love feels calmer, deeper, and real.If you’re still hoping, still believing, still open… your story isn’t late. It’s just getting started.
#wisdomwednesday I might look confident in this photo, but trust me—I haven’t always felt this way. 😌 I’ve always had a sharp eye for style (hello, former designer life 👗), but looking put-together was often my shield. People would compliment the outfit and never see the shy girl hiding behind it. It’s easy to hide in plain sight when everyone’s distracted by the clothes. Growing up as the only girl with four older brothers, I got used to staying quiet. My oldest brother once told me my opinion didn’t matter “because I was just a girl.” Those words stuck deeper than I realized, keeping me in the shadows, comfortable behind the scenes, friendly but never front and center. Then, in my 30s, everything flipped. He started bragging about my career, putting me on a pedestal. One day I finally spoke up—confronted the old hurt—and let it go. Turns out he didn’t even know how much it affected me. I’ve forgiven him completely. But man, it taught me: words matter. To your kids, your friends, your partner—they land heavier than we think. 💔➡️❤️ Fast forward to today: I’m out here on social media, gray hair and all, no more hiding. The moment I stopped apologizing for myself, the world started reflecting that acceptance back. Sure, I still get the occasional negative comment, but the love far outweighs it. I’m content, confident, and fully embracing my Big Age. 🌟 If you’ve ever felt like you’re hiding behind a polished exterior, or letting old words hold you back—know this: You don’t have to stay there. Accept yourself unapologetically, step into your truth, and watch how boldly the right people show up. Who’s with me? Drop a ❤️ if this hits home, or share your own “I used to hide but now...” moment below. Let’s lift each other up. ✨ #GrayHairDontCare #SelfAcceptance #WordsMatter#styleover60
Sunday Service. Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.“

I’m loving this cute jacket @luxe133az Downtown Prescott. Don’t know if it’s vintage, and it might even be menswear, but I’m good. It’s by G-Style, and it’s a fun little versatile piece, and keeping up with the animal skin trend. I have several ideas how to rock this jacket so stay tuned!

The choice to embrace your natural silver strands is nothing short of revolutionary. It’s like telling the world, “I am comfortable in my own skin, and I’m here to slay.”
