Transitioning to gray hair can be a beautiful journey. It’s about celebrating your natural beauty and letting go of society’s expectations.
Transitioning to gray hair can be a beautiful journey. It’s about celebrating your natural beauty and letting go of society’s expectations.
The God who made the universe knows MY name and has plans to prosper ME?! Any way you slice it, that means I am too blessed to be stressed!
Growing up in the Brooklyn housing projects wasn’t just a chapter in my life; it was the foundation upon which I built my dreams and aspirations.
Designers are drawing inspiration from the 70’s, giving classic pieces a contemporary makeover.
In a world that often equates beauty with youth, it takes a big dose of confidence and a sprinkle of humor to flip the script, showing that gray hair isn’t just a sign of aging—it’s a badge of honor. It tells tales of wisdom, experience, and unabashed self-love.
The choice to embrace your natural silver strands is nothing short of revolutionary. It’s like telling the world, “I am comfortable in my own skin, and I’m here to slay.”
#TBT and a little walk down memory lane…
Same kids. Same back view. A whole lot more height.
In 2020, I snapped that first photo of them from behind when they were still my little ones. Fast-forward to now and somehow those same “little” kids are taller than I am! When did THAT happen?
They just spent two weeks summering with us in Arizona, as they always do, and we had so much fun. And looking back at our Brooklyn stoop photos from then and now really got me. The stoop is still there, the Brooklyn memories are still there…but these babies just keep growing up on me.
That’s the funny thing about time. While you’re busy living it, laughing, traveling, making memories and enjoying the summers, those little legs get longer, those babies get taller…and suddenly you’re looking UP at them.
Same kids. Different view. A whole lot of memories in between.

I just happen to be in town for the annual Block Party! It made me realize how much I miss my home town. The neighbors, the food, the excitement!
It was great seeing friends and family, and I’m still wondering how I got so much smaller than the grands in such a short time!!!😲
What a Blessing to be back for a minute.
Love you Brooklyn!

Staying in Park Slope and hopped on the trusty F train. Passed by the Bergen Street station where I lived for decades. Feeling warm and fuzzy and nostalgic. New York made me!!!

Back in Brooklyn for a few days, I had the chance to attend an exclusive introduction to Hilo, a brand-new blood pressure monitoring device that’s just being released.
Since many of you know I’ve been keeping a closer eye on my blood pressure, I was excited to learn about a device that can monitor readings around the clock and even share them directly with your doctor.
My reading was a little elevated today (a busy trip back to New York will do that!), but it was a good reminder to slow down and pay attention.
I even brought one home for my brother, so we’ll both be trying it out-so stay tuned.
Learn more at us.hilo.com.
Do you monitor your blood pressure regularly?
